International Symposium on Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Educational Technology

  1.  Information  

The 2022 International Symposium on Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Educational Technology (ISCSET-2022) shall be organized on the 24th -26th  October in Tashkent, Uzbekistan by the European Medical University.

It’s purpose lies in providing researchers, scientists, employers and students with an outlet to introduce their ideas at the international level, develop and reinforce professional and international cooperation as well as to acquire and disseminate innovative knowledge.

This symposium has been organized on an annual basis since 2011 with valuable support from universities in Mongolia, Germany, Russian Federation, China, and Kazakhstan. Although COVID-19 forced the conference to be organized in an online format over the last 2 years, we are happy to announce that the conference will be held in a hybrid manner this year.

  1. Scope of Topics:

The International Symposium is structured into three main topics. Contributions connected to these topics are prioritized accepted. Submission of contributing papers related to defined topics is encouraged but not limited. All contributions will be evaluated by ISCSET program committee by peer review.

2.  Call for Contribution   

The objective of the symposium lies in sharing, disseminating best practices and potential avenues for cooperation regarding the current issues, achievements, successes and challenges facing computer science and information technology.

Forms of participation in the symposium

  1. In-person participation
    • 1.1 Oral presentation. Duration: 20 minutes
    • 1.2 Poster
    • 1.3 Exhibition – presentation of equipment and promotional materials connected to the scope of the symposium
    • 1.4 Participation as an observer – ISCSET 2022 shall support individuals seeking to further their research careers, those beginning research and those currently engaged in research in their pursuit to generate knowledge through its approach of integrating otherwise disparate fields of technology
    • 1.5 Participation as a partner organization – we are pleased to welcome any potential partner organizations operating in relevant fields to work with us
    • 1.6 Participation as a sponsor
    • 1.7 Media participation

2. Electronic participation

Electronic participation can take place in an online or offline manner

2.1 Online participation
a) Online oral presentation. Duration: 10 minutes. Must be online during the symposium
b) Poster. Posters must be delivered by mail to organizers at least 7 days prior to symposium. Must be online during the symposium

2.2 Offline participation
a) Oral presentation. A pre-recorded 10-minute presentation must be delivered to organizers at least 7 days prior to symposium. It would be preferable for presenter to be available during symposium to answer questions.
b) Poster. Posters must be delivered by mail to organizers in conjunction with a 7-minute video explanation of poster at least 7 days prior to symposium.

3. Publication of contribution

Poster: Innovative ideas and research concepts can be submitted as a poster. Poster shall be submitted in accordance with the organizer format and submissions connected to the ISCSET 2022 Scope of Topics shall be prioritized. The best poster shall be awarded the ISCSET Best Poster Certificate.

Paper: Research work and results can be submitted as a paper. Submissions connected to the ISCSET 2022 Scope of Topics shall be prioritized.  All submissions shall be reviewed and evaluated by ISCSET Scientific Committee members within two weeks of receipt.

Papers shall take the following format:

  • Full Paper (1000 – 2000 words)
  • Short Paper (500 – 700 words)
  • Abstract (250 – 300 words)

       All papers have to be submitted in IEEE format

      4. Important Dates

Deadline for paper submission: 15.09.2022
Acceptance notification shall be sent within two weeks of submission receipt
Receipt of formal invitation and application for visa: 25.09.2022
Submission for publication: 25.09.2022

      5. Registration Fee

1. The Registration fee for ISCSET 2022 is 300 Euros and includes:

  • Symposium proceedings
  • Travel and meal costs for 24-26th October
  • Accommodation for 24-26h October

GENERAL BASIS

Second stage of EMU admission
(open admission for contractual study* for the first semester of study)

You need to complete the following steps to apply:

  1. Complete an online registration on the University website and submit your details;

You will then be notified by email of the date and time you wish to present your documents to the University.

       2. Submit the following documents to the Admissions Office:
          a) Diploma;
          b) Original passport.

       3. Pass in person:
           a) Identification;
           b) Mandatory medical examination.

       4. Make payment in the amount of 1 BRV established in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

    5. In-person entrance exam (The exact date and time of exam shall be notified to every applicant individually by sending an email or calling the number left by the applicant while submitting the documents).

Announcement of test results

After the test, a list of applicants would be assembled according to the grades from the highest to the lowest, and the test results would be posted on the University website.

After the announcement of test results, the successful applicants shall submit original copies of relevant documents to the University PC.

Those applicants who failed to meet the admission requirements (those who remained outside the University’s admission quota), can apply to the University administration for admission to the University on the basis of an increased contract amount**.

* In accordance with the internal University policy every student admitted to the University on contract basis has a chance to get a free tuition grant according to the results of his/her average academic performance in each semester and active participation in the life of the University.

** Upon the approval of the University administration, the applicant’s application shall be paid one-time contract fee in double amount for the first year of study (super-contract).

EMU GRANTS

First stage of EMU admission
(for grant-based studies for the first semester of study)

You need to:

       1. Submit the following documents to the Admissions Office:

          a) Diploma;
          b) Original passport.

       2. Pass in person:
           a) Identification;
           b) Mandatory medical examination.

3. Pay the fee of 1 BRV established in the Republic of Uzbekistan (entrants to EMU preparatory courses 50% discount).

4. Pass the entrance exam in-person (specific date and time of exam is informed individually to every applicant by sending an email or calling the number left by the applicant when submitting the documents).

Announcement of test results

After the exam, the list of applicants would be determined based on the number of points, from the highest to the lowest, and the results would be posted on the University’s official website.

After the announcement of test results, successful applicants shall submit original copies of relevant documents to the University PC.

Applicants for EMU preparatory courses who do not achieve the required entry scores (which remain outside the University’s admission quota) shall be given the opportunity to re-submit their documents for the second stage of admission or to study on the basis of an advanced contract.
