Summer school is a convenient format for immersion in a new education system.
On August 15, a group of EMU University students, led by the curator Kenzhaeva Nigora Davlatovna, went on a two-week unforgettable trip to the largest university in Europe in the field of medicine – the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, to complete summer practice and improve their knowledge.
Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) is one of the best and is the largest institution of higher education in biomedical sciences in in the Baltic States with 100 years of academic experience.
According to the internal policy of EMU University, the expenses associated with the trip of students with the highest academic performance according to the results of the academic year were fully covered by the Founders’ Fund of EMU University. And at the end of the academic year the best teacher of EMU University got the opportunity to travel around the fabulous Baltic city, whose expenses were also fully covered by the Founders’ Fund of EMU University.
As part of the training, students visited the Institute of Anatomy, the Faculties of Odontology, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine. In continuation of the summer school, it is planned to visit various departments of the university such as surgery, gynecology, traumatology, ophthalmology and others.
Students will also study a first aid course and visit the country’s largest hospitals.
In addition to studying, several days of the trip are devoted for visiting the cultural attractions of the country. As a result of this trip, students will get acquainted with the conditions of study in European countries in the field of medicine, expand their horizons and get an unforgettable practical experience.
