EMU University announces the opening of the Preparatory Courses for the 2023/2024 academic year.
Students of schools in grades 8-11, as well as students of lyceums and colleges, can become students of paid preparatory courses. Curricula are focused on preparing for the entrance exams at EMU University, as well as leading medical universities in Uzbekistan and foreign countries.
Recruitment for preparatory courses is conducted from July to March. Group size is 10-13 people.

The Medical Foundation is a special program that prepares students for admission to EMU University. The Medical Foundation program was designed based on the university’s first-year program. Passing this course, students have a great chance to become students of EMU University. After completing the course, students pass an internal exam, based on the points scored, the student is accepted into the ranks of students on the basis of a grant or on a paid contract basis. The university will allocate most of the grant places for graduates of the Medical Foundation course.
Subjects of the Medical Foundation program:
-Chemistry
-Biology
-Histology
-Anatomy
-Physiology
Preparatory courses offer a one-year program – lasting 10 months.
Chemistry and Biology will be held 2 times a week.
Histology, Anatomy and Physiology once a week.
The duration of the lessons is 120-150 minutes.
In order to be eligible to take part in the final examinations of the preparatory courses, students must complete their studies at the Medical Foundation.
The student has the right to choose the language of instruction – Russian or Uzbek. The level and group of students can be changed depending on the level of knowledge of students after intermediate tests.
Examinations will be held on the first Sunday of each month as a test of progress and knowledge.
Preparatory courses in State Medical Universities:

Classes in chemistry and biology are held 3 times a week.
Classes in compulsory subjects are held every Sunday.
